Here's Team 228's operator interface that was used from the 2002 season until the end of the 2004 season. It was designed and machined by Jesse, and it included a custom cover that could snap onto the bottom of it. Although it was designed to be extremely versatile and rugged, we eventually stopped using it at the end of the 2004 season because it did not allow for a co-driver position to be carried easily inside of it. Most of the time, a self-contained co-driver box was used (as it was pictured here), but this often lead to loose connections.
