In every build season there are always some ideas that come about that seem like great idea, but never actually make it onto the final robot. One of those Team 228 had during the build season was "tetra piggybacking" on the robot, giving us the ability to hold extra tetras during the match on the back of the robot elevator. In the end, the weight to add the hooks and pneumatic cylinders to release the tetras outweighed the ability to hold multiple tetras on the robot. (Although we did discover that our robot could hold and stack two tetras at once later on at the 2005 Championship Event.)
