Here's the first-stage roller chain "gear" reduction for the arm on our robot, coming off of the Van Door motor. Only days before the 2004 build season ended, we found out that our original plan to use a drill motor to power the arm, would not work. Within a time span of three days, Mr. Morrison reverse engineered our existing gearbox plates to adapt a Van Door motor instead. And the new final result worked much, much better.
