The results of our prototype shooter were less than desirable. The problem we were having was that the super smooth skyway wheel was contacting the smooth outer skin of the Poof ball, and there was little friction between the two. Therefore, most of the rotational energy of the shooter wheel wasn't being transferred to the ball, so the ball only flew out a distance of only a fraction of what it could have.
