Breakaway!

The 2010 FIRST Robotics Competition Game has finally been released! Breakaway is the name of this year's game and it definitely breaks away from the ideas of past FIRST games.
The game pieces this year are soccer balls and they are scored in corner goals on the field. After a ball is scored, it is returned to the field by the human players, on a horizontal track above the field. At the end of the match, robots will race to hang on a bar or another robot, before time runs out. An obstacles robots will have to over come in the matches is: the field is divided into three parts separated by "speedbump"-like structures. This years game is a going to be a challenge, but good luck to all teams in their designing and building!
