The UTC New England Regional!

After a long, adrenaline-pumping, action-packed competition, the 2006 UTC New England Regional drew to a close today. After finishing up a few last-minute changes on Thursday and early Friday, we entered the qualifications with a huge, blindingly bright orange robot. During the competition, we won five of our matches, lost three, and tied in - leaving us in tenth place (out of forty teams) on Saturday before the Alliance Selections. After moving up and becoming the Seventh Alliance Captain, we picked teams 173 (RAGE) and 1665 (Weapons of Mass Destruction) for our alliance. Although we lost in the quarterfinals to teams 237, 716, and 1027, this was our second-best FIRST Regional ever.
