Team 228 Makes the Front Page!

Gaining the attention of the media is always a prime focus for Team 228. Last year prior to the UTC New England Regional, we arranged for one of the morning hosts of a radio station to come down and interview some of our team members. This year, we went to our local hometown newspaper, (with a circulation of about 28,000 newspapers/day) the Record Journal, and asked if they would like to do a story on our team. After interviewing our team and photography us extensively at our of our team meetings, we were delighted to learn that our story made the front page - with a large color picture of our Vex robot - of the Record-Journal on March 7, 2006.
